Yesterday I was feeling a bit low, to be honest, but rather than go for a long punishing run, which I would have opted for in the past, I treated myself to a wee flat white and watched life go by….
This to me is intuitive movement, right there. I listened to my body.
I was tired and a little emotional so I chose to be kind to myself and take care of the incredibly hardworking body, which allows me to do my dream job 6 days a week 💪
It has taken many years of getting the balance wrong to eventually feeling as if I’d got it right. Some days I slip back into old patterns and that’s ok. I recognise that and pick myself up and move on.
